Creating A New Account
Creating a new account with TNL Antispam is a quick painless process. You will
need the same information that you use to configure the e-mail program you use
such as Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, etc. This information is provided by your
email provider or your ISP. This information includes:
Your POP3 Server (Incoming Mail Server)
Your POP3 Username
Your POP3 Password
You SMTP Server (Outgoing Mail Server)
Open TNL Antispam and select Options->New Account as seen in the screenshot below:
You will be prompted
for a personality name. This is simply a name for
the mail account so that you can easily identify it. You may enter whatever
you like in this field.
After you create your personatilty name the Account Properties dialog
will appear. This is where you enter in your mail server information.
The Properties dialog contains 4 tabs, the first tab is GENERAL.

Your Name
This is your name as you want it to appear on outgoing emails.
Process this POP Account
If checked this account will be included when you use the Check
All button to check all mail accounts.

Account Email Address
This is the return email address that should appear on outgoing
emails. This email address should match the email address for the mail account
you are configuring.
POP Server
The POP server or Incoming mail server is the server that you
download your email from. This information is usually provided by your ISP or
email provider.
POP Username
All
Mail servers require that you enter a username and password to identify yourself.
This information
is usually provided by your ISP or email provider.
POP Password
All Mail servers
require that you enter a username and password to identify yourself. This
information is usually provided by your ISP or email provider.
POP Port
Most POP3 servers run on PORT 110. Occasionally you will have a different configuration,
if this is the case you may specify the port number here.
POP Timeout.
Timeout is the number of seconds to wait for a response from the mail server.
If the mail server does not respond in the allotted time, TNLAS will proceed
to the next account or action.
