Preferences Dialog: Startup Tab

Overview
Perl Scripting Tool Offers a variety of preferences, designed to meet your individual tastes as the developer. The Preferences menu is accessed through OPTIONS --> PREFERENCES.

Show Startup Dialog.
If checked the startup splash screen will be displayed each time you open the Perl Scripting Tool application.

Show Tips At Startup.
If Checked Helpful tips and suggestions will appear each time you open the Perl Scripting Tool application.

Output Window on Startup.
Check this if you would like the Perl Output window to be present in the main IDE each time you open the Perl Scripting Tool application.

Explorer Window On Startup.
Check this if you would like the Explorer Pane to be present in the main IDE each time you open the Perl Scripting Tool application..

Project Manager On Startup.
If you would like to open with the Project Manager instead of the main IDE, check this option.

Check For Updates On Start.
If selected Perl Scripting Tool will periodically check for program updates and upgrades.   If left unchecked you can access this feature from the HELP menu.

Startup Font Size:
Defines the size of the EDITOR font on startup.

Load Script Template On Startup.
You may optionally load a default script template on startup.  This template is defined in the box below.  You may uncheck this and still define a template that can be loaded from the LOAD TEMPLATE option found in the file menu and GENERAL TOOLBAR.
